From Curious Creator to Visual Storyteller

Hi, I’m Deborah Edwards — founder and creative mind behind DeDs Graphic.
My love for design started with a sketchpad and a curiosity about how visuals shape perception. That passion led me to earn my degree in Graphic Design from the Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD), where I honed the balance between visual clarity and creative freedom.

Over the past 12+ years, I’ve worked with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, agencies, and local businesses — translating their ideas into memorable visuals that connect, inspire, and convert.

Design isn’t just my job — it’s how I listen, communicate, and help others thrive.

🧭 Strategic. Aesthetic. Collaborative.

Every project at DeDs Graphic begins with clarity — understanding your goals, audience, and personality.

  • Strategic: I believe good design solves problems. It’s not just beautiful — it works.
  • Aesthetic: Clean, modern, purposeful. My designs are made to endure, not just impress.
  • Collaborative: Your vision matters. I work with you, not just for you.

The goal? To build design that feels right, looks sharp, and performs well — every time.

🏡 The Heart Behind the Name

DeDs Graphic was born in 2015 out of a simple goal: to offer professional-grade design with a personal touch. After years of freelancing and working in agency settings, I felt the need for a creative space that was more agile, client-focused, and human.
“DeDs” is more than just my initials — it stands for dedication to design. This studio is my way of connecting with small businesses, dreamers, and doers to bring big ideas to life through thoughtful visuals.
Based in Milton, Ontario, I now serve clients across Canada and beyond — one design at a time.

😊 Fun Facts / Personal Touch

A few things that keep me going (and designing):

  • Favorite font: Gill Sans — timeless, versatile, and clean
  • Creative fuel: Coffee (black) + late-night jazz
  • Design motto: “Simple is sophisticated.”
  • Most-used tool: Figma + Sharpie markers
  • Best part of the job: Seeing a client light up when their vision becomes visual
